Dr. Ngozi Onyia

Dr Ngozi Onyia is a 1982 medical graduate of the University of Ibadan, a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians in Paediatrics, and a Travel Health Physician. An alumna of the Lagos Business School (EMBA 11), she became a medical entrepreneur after 28 years of medical practice in both the public and private healthcare sectors in Nigeria. Her ten-year stint (2000-2010) as the Company Medical Adviser of Nigerian Breweries, a blue chip, company was her most notable role before the establishment of her own practice in 2010, Paelon Memorial Hospital (PMH). PMH is a boutique, multispecialty hospital that aims to provide health services of the highest quality in one place. It was established with a vision to redefine healthcare in Nigeria.
Ngozi sits on the board of several organizations including Leadway Health Insurance Company Pharmaccess Nig, Society for Quality Health in Nigeria, Medsaf, Children Arise Foundation boys to MEN Foundation and the Nigerian Society of Travel Medicine. She is a member of several organizations including the Guild of Medical Directors, Paediatric Association of Nigeria (she chairs the audit committee) and the Nigerian Society of Travel Medicine. She is a mother of two adult children a grandmother and she likes to walk, travel, and listen to music. She is very passionate about her work.
